“Have you entered the storehouses of the snow,
or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,
which I have reserved for the time of trouble,
for the day of battle and war?"
These words from Yahweh in Job 38 are a reminder that God is sovereign over the weather. As for the "times of trouble," while there are wars and rumors of wars around us, we know that the true battle is spiritual (Ephesians 6:12). I'm praying for our church family as I write this, that each of you would fight the good fight of the faith. I'm praying for you to have courage, perseverance, and joy as you you serve our Lord, knowing that he is alive, and that he is coming again, and so "your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
